We would like to express our sincere apologies for the short down
time today. This is due to massive traffic generating to FCM website
and over use of CPU resources.
We have overlooked this instance
and have quickly rectified the problem. This only shows that FCM is
growing and getting bigger everyday. We will continue to do our best to
keep information available to all foosers.
Thank you.

FCM presents Oliver Yong's interview with Yam Sai Ho, rookie champ for Breakers Open 2007.
Oliver Yong: What's your favourite shot and favourite pass?
Sai Ho: Pull Shot and stationery lane pass
OY: You're quite new in the local foosball scene, where are you from?
SH: Petaling Jaya
OY: How long have you been foosing?
SH: 2 years since i first touched a foosball table =) nvr stopped since then.
OY: Where have you been playing and how much have you learnt?
SH: I've been playing at Rileys, AC and also breakers. Have learnt a lot from other senior foosers not only bout foosball but even other things too.
OY: What or who motivates you to pick up foosball and why?
SH: The competitive feeling when playing in a tournament and the eagerness to be beat other people.
OY: What gives you the winning edge? There's a lot of good rookie foosers out there, in your opinion, what's that one thing that makes you
a good fooser?
SH: Ermm, i guess its the experience, luck and the "THUMB"!
OY: What's your most memorable moment in your foosball career? Why?
SH: I guess it would be World Selections 2006, because that was the first ever tournament i got placing although its not first, i was happy.
OY: What are you looking forward to from now?
SH: Improving further, will be looking forward to more competitions hoping to get an open placing or maybe rookie title if there are any rookie events i can participate in.
OY: In future events, will you partner up with any other
SH: Foosers? What do you look for in a doubles partner?
OY: What do you think about the KOO7 event and will you be looking forward for another event as such?
SH: Definitely, a doubles partner that is fun. K007 was alright but i will be looking forward to more major tournaments like Classics and others.
OY: How old were you when you first started foosing and where was the place?
DH: I was 18 when i first started, at Breakers.
OY: What was your first major tournament ever played?
SH: FCM Classics 2005
OY: What was your first Major title ever won?
SH: Major? i guess not yet ..
OY: What is your primary position?
SH: Forward
OY: Which do you like better?
SH: Definietly forward.
OY: What are your primary & secondary shot as a forward? As a goalie?
SH: Forward primary : Pullshot Forward secondary : Snake? =x AHah
Goalie primary : Pullshot Goalie Secondary : Pushshot
OY: How about your passing series. What is your primary? Do you have more than one?
SH: My primary pass currently is stationery lane pass(popularised Billy Pappas). I used to brush, so i guess i have more than 1.
OY: What would you like to advice the future champions?
SH: Erm i guess i'm not anyone that can advice others, but i would like to say just keep playing for the love of the game.
OY: Where do you see foosball heading to in 5 or 10 years time?
SH: Erm, hopefully a sport that can be seen on TV like pool, snooker or darts.
OY: Why did you foos anyway? What was the reason?
SH: Because its fun, i believe thats more than enough for a young guy like me.
OY: As a fooser/enthusiast yourself, what would your advise to FCM?
SH: Keep up the good job.
OY: How can we as a fooser, to assist the community to grow?
SH: Erm, play more with social foosers and inform them about tourneys. Encourage them to play.
OY: In your personal opinion, how can foosball reach higher growth? more tournaments? pls give us your idea.
SH: Definitely more tournaments, probably an event where Rookies choose their Pro in a BYP. And hopefully the pro can teach the rookie a couple of things.
